[00:00:25] Speaker B: Right. Happy Independence Day weekend. We're going to continue celebrating July 4th. I told Caroline I was supporting my July 4th shirt, my daughter, and she goes, mom, I don't know about that. I go, hey, we are proud to be Americans here, and we're going to continue to support what we have. And in case you forgot what July 4th is, I want to tell you July 4th, 1776, it was when the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Pull up your US History class. You guys remember some of this? So America is officially 249 years old. Happy birthday, America. Are you guys honored to get to live in a country based on faith and spirit, spiritual principles? I'm so happy that we are able to be here and worship and do the things that we do. As you also remember, this is when the document was signed, when we actually had our separation from Great Britain. It marks the time when the United States became an independent nation.
We are the home of the free because of the brave men and women who have fought for us to have what we have today. So I want us to continue to have them in prayer. They put their lives on the line each and every day for us. So we have the freedom and the things that we have. So we're grateful for them as we celebrate our nation's birthday and as we are in a series of prayer. Our last two weeks, we've been talking about the Lord's Prayer. We got a couple more after this. We're really learning how to pray, how the Bible, how scripture tells us to pray. But I'm very encouraged by the prayers of our forefathers, of our presidents, of the leaders of the people who formed this nation, of their relationship with the Lord and the people of God that they were.
And yesterday, my husband Derek, he's the history buff, and he was saying, well, do you know the story about George Washington praying at Valley Forge? I'm like, oh, yes, I remember. Remind me what all does it say? So we talked a little bit about that. And it was in December of 1777, and it was a very cold and bleak time during the Revolutionary War. You might remember the American Continental army, which is now known as the United States army, had won a few battles, but then they had lost a few crucial ones. So when the prospects looked dire for the 12,000 men who were based at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, it was cold there, y'. All. Texas, we don't know that kind of cold, right? If you're from somewhere else, you know that kind of cold. It was snowy, it was wet, it was cold. They were cold.
And the roads were impassable due to snow.
They said between 2 and 3,000 men lost their lives there.
And Isaac Potts, a local Quaker and owner of the land where the army was encamped at the time, went for a walk through the woods at Valley Forge. And he says he heard a man praying. And he went quietly into the woods to see who it was. And to his amazement, it was President George Washington.
And he said he had never heard such a prayer before. He went home and he told his wife, I saw a sight and heard something today that I have never seen before.
And he was deeply moved by George Washington's fervent prayer of his faith that he had in the Lord.
It is believed by many that that earnest prayer turned the tide.
And we are continued to be a nation because they became victorious in what they were fighting, because those men and women were praying to God to help deliver them.
So prayer changes things. If you're in doubt of that, today, we're going to talk about that. Prayer does change things.
And fervent prayer is what we're gonna talk about specifically as we continue to look through the Lord's Prayer. We're in our third week of the Lord's Prayer, a prayer Jesus gives us on how to guide us through prayers we've learned. This is not the exact prayer he wants us to pray every time we sit down to eat or we're sitting down with our families or praying for something God has laid on our heart. It's just a guide. It's a model of how we should pray.
And it was in response to the disciples were asking Jesus, tell us how to pray. They'd been watching him for a while. They'd been in ministry with about three years with Jesus. And the religious people they had seen praying really weren't praying the way that Jesus was. There was something different about him about his prayers. He really had a relationship with God. And when he prayed, you could feel that he was really doing miracles, right? His teaching was just amazing. And they were saying, we want what you've got.
Tell us, what is it gonna take for us to be Effective in our prayers, for our prayers to be answered, as your prayers are answered as well.
So that's when Jesus tells them about the Lord's Prayer. But we're gonna step back just a couple of verses before that, because before that, Jesus told them how not to pray. Are you kind of that way? I better, if you tell me what not to do. Just go ahead and lay it on out. Do not do this. I'm pretty good about being a real follower. Some may disagree with that. But really, if I do know, I'm not rationalizing. So tell me what not to do, though this was Jesus, what he told them. So this is Matthew 6, 5, 8. And he says, when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others.
Truly, I tell you, they have received the reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father who is unseen.
Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
That's important to remember. The Father knows what you need before you even ask him.
Sometimes we forget that too, don't we?
So the disciples are really asking us, what's the secret to being close to God? What can we do for God to hear our prayers? And most importantly, how do we get him to answer them? That's why we're all praying and talking to God, right? We have something that we want to pray about that we want him to do for us.
So they're asking, what's the secret to an effective prayer?
I think that's something we all want to know if we're gonna spend our lives doing this each and every day, each and every meal, each morning, when we get up, every night, before we go to bed, when we're in the car and somebody sends in a prayer request, whatever it is, we wanna be effective at this if we're gonna do it. So they asked Jesus, what is the secret to effective prayer? And this is what Jesus says, are you ready for this?
To pray according to God's will.
Not what you want, not what you think God might want from you, but to pray according to God's will. So here's the framework he gave in the Lord's Prayer, Matthew 6, 9, 13. In this manner, therefore, pray. Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
So we've been talking about those first couple of verses the last two weeks. Two weeks ago, Pastor Bill taught us to open our prayer when we begin praying, and we're gonna spend a few times with the Lord to open our prayer and worship. It says, our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Jesus is saying, remember who you're talking to.
Remember who you're talking to. The God who's up on the throne, the God who created everything on this entire world in seven days, all the things we know that God has done. Remember who you're talking to and come in with a reverence.
I do love that he says, father. He didn't have to say that.
He could have said, oh, God. Great, awesome one. You know, this is how you should start your prayers. But he said, you can say father. It's a little bit of an intimate thing because he loves you so much, just as we love our children. He did. So remember, it's important for us to start by adoring God and remind our hearts of who he is. Last week, Pastor Bill talked about to pray for God's will. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And Jesus shows us that prayer is not about bending God's ear to our desires. It's about aligning our hearts with his.
So it's not about praying, hey, God, here's what I want you to do. And if you're really God, you need to do this. For me.
It's about, hey, God, here's a situation I'm going through, and I'm just wondering, knowing what, you know, what would be best for me. I want you to do what would be best for me, Be best for my children, be best for my children's children and all the generations that are gonna come behind me. I don't ever want to do anything that's gonna cause a disruption in that.
So this week, oh, Pastor Bill says, y', all, I love this. He says this sometimes. I wanna quote this. Cause he says, God only wants for you what you would want for you if you knew what he knows.
Sometimes that's putting our mind back in the posture of remembering who God is. Right?
God knows what's best, and he is not gonna say yes to something that is not best for us. And honestly, I find a little bit of confidence in that. How about you? Right, God, this is what I want. But if it's not the best for me, I trust you. I trust you to come through with providing what I need, what is best for me. So this week we're looking at verse 11 in the Lord's Prayer, and it says, give us this day our daily bread. So verse 11 is tucked right in here, and it's really simple and it just says, basically, give us food every day.
And it seems a little trivial compared to your kingdom come or deliver us from the evil one. Right? There's some big things he was praying in there, but he's just saying, give us food every day. And sometimes I think we think this is really about food, but it's not really. Jesus is teaching us about a dependence on God and a daily time that we come to him and ask him for what we need in a world where we can pretty much provide for ourselves. Right?
We live in a country that is so affluent, and you can about find any kind of food that you want. Caroline and I were talking about that. I said, you know, we. When my grandmother was growing up, they didn't get strawberries year round. They got strawberries when they grew during the summer and watermelon when it was really good. We're just used to having all of these things all of the time, so we don't really realize that we are in need.
But Jesus is reminding us it's not about the food.
Right? And I do love that he prayed for a carb, right? If you got to pick anything, do you just love? He said, God, give us bread because I love bread. Not the best for me, but just throwing that in. But he's teaching us about a dependence, a humility, a gratitude, and a trust. It's daily. This is the daily things that we need. Can you imagine how our lives would be if every morning we got up and we actually prayed for God to provide for us that day? We didn't get up in a rush? I do. Do you have a lot of things to do? And the dog and all the things you guys have the same thing. But what if we got up and our first thought was, good morning, Lord, will you please provide for me today? Will you please provide for me everything that I need? How much would our day be different? Our hearts would be different? Instead of expectation of having all the things that we want, that he's just providing what we actually need. Matthew 6:26 says, look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap or store away in barns. Yet your heavenly father feeds them.
And you not much more are you, not much more valuable than they. He's going to provide for us. We are so valuable. He loves us so much. He's going to be sure what we have is exactly what we need.
Moms and dads, you know this. Cause you are providing for your children each and every day. You're cooking three meals a day. I know. This is a lot, right? Every single day. I remember when Caroline first got married, she's like, well, I didn't know I had to come up with three meals a day every day for the rest of my life. I'm like, yes, this is part of it. You gotta shop. Not only shop and you gotta cook, then you gotta clean up. Sometimes I like to clean up.
But parents are on a continual basis of being sure. You know, when your kids are hungry, even babies, you know the cry, right? Mamas of, oh, they're hungry, it's time to feed. We're not gonna withhold something that's really, really good for us. We have two granddaughters. They are 1 and 3.
And we are beyond blessed. We love them so much.
I don't want to say we love them more than our children because we did love children at that age too. But it's just a different thing. We talk about it all the time, Derek. Oh, did you see that video? Oh, did you see she called my name? All of those things. We get so excited about new life, about seeing new kids. And I'm watching them really dependent upon their children. And Caroline was over, and I was cutting sweet little Lizzie. She's a year. I was cutting her grapes, and Caroline said, mom, we don't cut grapes. I said, oh, we cut grapes. And she said, no, we don't cut grapes. She said, there's a new thing now how we feed these babies. It's called baby led weaning. And I said, what are you talking about? She said, oh, no. There's the whole theory behind all this. So you may be asking, what is that? So I looked it up so I could tell you, and here's what Google says. Baby led weaning puts babies in charge of mealtime. That means skipping spoon feeding pureed foods and jumping right into enjoying solids with the rest of the family.
With baby led weaning, instead of buying or making specific foods to feed your baby, you're preparing the same meal for the whole family with modifications as needed this doctor said. So the thought is, it's easier. You don't have to plan different meals. It's nutritional. And the baby learns how to eat and what will choke them. She says, oh, they'll only choke a couple of times, and then they won't swallow that much the next time.
So my husband, I'm just gonna tell you, he calls it free ranging. Cause we have chickens. And he says it's about the same thing. Just let them do their thing, right? What they want do. So last week, the girls came over and I'd gone by and got Mexican food. And we brought it home. And sweet Lizzy's in her high chair, and we're making them all the food and getting ready to eat. And I look over and Caroline gets a whole bowl of refried beans and just dumps it on that high chair.
And I look over at Derek, and I thought his eyes were going to pop out of his head. He was like, seriously? And I'm trying not to laugh because they are the parents. As grandparents, you know, you guys, we don't get to tell our opinion. We don't tell them how to do things. She and Caleb are fantastic parents. They are so much more mature than Derek and I were. They got so much more information than we ever had at their ages, right? So all of a sudden, I just start uncontrollably laughing. I got tickled. I couldn't quit laughing. And then Caroline's like, what? And I'm like, well, Caroline, that's kind of a mess. And she's just shoving it in her mouth and she's wiping it in her hair and in her ears. And Derek's grossing out. And Caroline said, mom, do you think I'm going to just sit here and spoon feed her? And I said, yes.
Said every parent for all the time.
That is what you do. You just sit there and feed them.
We were laughing about it, and I said, you know what? We did do too much for our kids. We did.
We just did everything for them. And now a lot of young people are having a hard time mainstreaming into life. So maybe this next Generation learned at 6 months old how to not choke. And maybe they're going to be a little bit more independent, be able to take care of themselves.
Maybe it's all going to work out in the end. But at my house, we cut grapes. I'm like, I'm not doing the Heimlich on a baby. So we do. We do some things to help take care of them. But here's what I know that I've watched with these grandbabies. They depend on their parents to feed them and take care of them. Not just food, but their emotional health, their spiritual health, to bring them to church to tell them about Jesus.
This is what we do as parents and it's the same with our heavenly Father. And that's what Jesus is saying. It's more than about food.
This is about your emotional help. This is about your mental health, your physical health. This is about you trusting God every day for what you need.
God is referred by a few different names in the Bible. I love if you're ever looking for a study, you're thinking, oh, I wanna study something. Look up the names of God. I just love looking at all those. And they all talk about a different facet of God so we can understand him a little bit better in our language. And one of them is Jehovah Jireh, which we sang about today. And it's found in Genesis 22 and it's translated, the Lord will provide.
The name was given by Abraham when God provided a ram as a substitution sacrificed for his son Isaac, demonstrating God's provision and faithfulness.
So just as we sang a little bit ago, God is enough and he's going to provide enough for us in today's world. I don't know what enough is anymore, do you? There's never enough.
There's never enough. We can't accumulate enough things. Our closets are just the worst, right? I'm thinking my grandmother had a few outfits, you know, we have. We don't even wear what's all in our. We have enough, but we're always looking for more. We're always looking for something else to satisfy us. And at the end of the day, it's Jesus. He's the only one that is gonna satisfy this longing from within us.
So as we look at Matthew 6:11, I was thinking of three specific attitudes we could come with as we pray that will help me. I'm really working hard on some of these things. I hope it'll help you. Number one is a prayer of dependence. As the first couple of words say, give us.
The simple request reminds us that we are not self sufficient. Sometimes we really think that we are, but we are not. In our modern world, it's easy to get just about anything that you want. But Jesus, when he says give us, he's reminding us that we are the recipients, we're not the providers. God is the provider, we are the recipient. So we are asking, give us number two, a prayer of trust. This day he doesn't say, give us enough for a week or a month. He says, give us this day.
He's inviting us to live in the present, to be happy and thankful with what we have for today, not worrying about tomorrow.
Matthew 6:34 says, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. And each day has enough trouble of its own. Have you guys lived that out? Sometimes worrying, worrying, worrying, worrying about something that never really happened. You're like, okay, that was however many days and weeks of my life I just threw away. Cause it didn't even happen anyway. But God knows what you need today. He knows.
And the prayer is a daily reset of trust. Do you love this reset? It's kind of like we live in this world and we start off with the right thing in mind. And by the end of the day, we've been affected by so many people. But what if every morning we could just reset that? We say, okay, God, whatever's all happened, I want to reset today. And here's where I'm going with my life today. Today we're going to focus on that. Number three, a prayer of simplicity.
Our daily bread. You know, he could have talked about steak and dessert and all the things, and he didn't. It was just a simple, basic, essential need that they were needing. And he's saying, it's enough.
Even if you have bread manna, think of them all day, every day, it's enough. You are able to live on that.
Jesus reminded us to be humble and to know, we just need enough for today. And if you're a planner like me and a stockpiler, I've got so much stuff in my pantry, just in case the kids come, somebody comes. I don't wanna run out of this or that, right?
But really, we don't even need to do all of that. Cause we're throwing so much stuff away. He's saying, just worry about today.
So you might be saying, okay, how are we gonna live this out?
I have a couple ideas for you. Pray daily.
Start each day by asking God to meet your needs for that day. We're not gonna worry about the week and the end of the month. And we're not sure if we got money left for them. We're just gonna worry about today and say, God, will you provide for me today?
Practice contentment and be thankful for what you have.
Because in the world of social media, where we're always looking at other people who have looks like, right, y'. All. You know, they took 500 pictures to get that one picture of Their entire family smiling at the same time. And it looks like their life is so great, right? It's not real. None of it's real. But we spend some time scrolling through all these things, making our hearts and desires to want more than we need because we seems like that's what everybody else has. Trust God with tomorrow. Remember Jehovah Jireh. God wants to meet our needs, not just emergency one. And don't let worry steal your peace. Number four, be generous. Ask God to use you to help someone else get their daily bread. Maybe somebody else doesn't have it, and maybe he's given you extra because he wants to use you to bless somebody else.
I tell people all the time who come in that are struggling with depression and some difficult things going on in their life. I always say, go see your doctor and go take care of yourself. But don't sit home all day long, especially on the Internet. Go serve. Come over to our crc. Come on the weekends. We got a million places for you to serve where we really need you. Something happens when you get your eyes off of yourself and you see other people and you get to see life change, ministry happening, people who are really struggling and you get to give them a smile or a hug. You'd be surprised what that does for your spirit, for your brain, for your serotonin, all the things in your life.
It's a great way to start.
So our relationship with God is all about trust.
Comes down to it, all the things we're gonna talk about, it's all about trust. And do you trust God now? For some of us, in certain seasons, that's easier than others, right? Sometimes it's easy to trust God until it's not. Until something really bad happens in your family. You lost a loved one, your kids are cutting themselves, somebody's disappeared, and you don't know where and you don't know how to find them. Somebody's walked away from their faith and making really bad decisions.
How do you trust God with that? Sometimes that's a little hard.
Proverbs 3, 5 and 6 says, Trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
So whether you're facing a storm, a decision, or just the unknown, trusting Jesus means surrendering control and believing that he is good, even if it doesn't feel like it.
But believing he is good, he's near, he's close, and he's able.
So as you pray this week, try using this model Jesus has given us. Obviously, how we pray matters, since he's taught this to the disciples.
Because left to our own thoughts, we will typically only pray. Asking for things, that's just our wiring. We know we can't make it happen, but we know somebody who can. So we are constantly asking. But sometimes we need to also just sit with God to pray and adore him and listen for what he might have for us.
I have an acrostic for you, which means the first letter of pray all means something. And this might help you if you're sitting down going, I know I'm doing a lot of asking. What was Mary talking about? You just have to remember the word pray. P is praise. Acknowledge how great he is and thank him for the great things he has done.
R stands for repent. Confess specific sins we have committed to turn away from them. We're not confessing because he doesn't know. God already knows. We are confessing because it shows the attitude of our heart to change.
It shows that we realize what we did wasn't a great thing and we don't want to do it anymore. We're gonna repent. We're gonna turn back and not do it again.
Ask. Ask for things that are on your mind, but also know God reserves the right to answer according to his wisdom and love for us.
And the Y stands for yield. Be quiet and listen to what he has to say. Use a journal to help you write down what you think he might be saying. This is the hardest for me is the yield to just sit. Just sit for five minutes. Maybe you've read something in your Bible. Maybe you listened to a podcast. Maybe you listen to church service.
Just sit for quiet in five minutes and say, God, what would you have me do with what I learned today? Because for some reason you've spoken some things to my heart and I'm not sure to go with it. And God will be faithful and he will honor you asking Him. He will give it to you.
And maybe it's a word, maybe it's a thought, maybe it's an action that you know he wants you to do. Here's what I know. When you feel like God's told you something to do, usually I know it's from the Lord because it's something I wouldn't have thought about. Like, hey, why don't you call so and so? You haven't seen them in a while. And I'm like, I hadn't thought about that. Where'd that thought come from? I know that was probably from God, I've gone, yes, I'm gonna do that later. And then I totally forgot. And then something happened, and that person said, oh, yeah, I was going through a hard time. Did you not hear about, you know, my mom died or something? I'm like, well, the Lord told me, and I didn't do anything about it, so get your journal and be ready. And when God tells you something to do, you do it. And as we're faithful to God, then he will give us more things to do, just like we do our families.
I had a. This week, I was talking to a young lady, and she had one. She filled out a form. If you ever want to get baptized, I'll just tell you what I'm telling you. You can go online. There's a form you can fill out. It asks a little bit about your story, and it comes to the staff, and we meet with you, talk with you a little bit about why you want to get baptized, your salvation story. So I'm talking to her, and I said, okay, tell me your story. I'm so excited. She's 17. She wants to get baptized. And I said, I'm so excited you're wanting to get baptized. Tell me your faith story. And she said, well, I grew up in the church, and my parents went through a divorce, and we kind of quit going, and I'm going with my grandparents, and now we're kind of coming back. And she said, I just want to get close to God. And I saw all those people getting baptized on the stage, if you were here. Last week, we baptized 44 people between all of our services on this stage. And she said, I just saw how close they were to the Lord, and I want that.
And I said, oh, man. Baby girl, that is a great reason, but we got to talk about something first, because baptism doesn't save you. Baptism just gets you wet. And it tells the world that you're a follower of Christ. And Christ does do it himself. And we do it to be like what he did, but it doesn't save you.
I said, have you ever heard about Jesus and the cross and the gospel? And do you know he lived this sinless life, and then he was God in the flesh, and he never committed a sin, but he was crucified, buried, and he rose three days later and went to heaven to be with the Father because he loved us so much. And, you know, when you put your faith in Jesus and you believe in him, we call that. That's your salvation experience. You were reborn again. You were saved. You may have heard it called all different things, but that's the time you made the commitment to trust Jesus as your savior. So I said, have you done that? And she said, no, ma'. Am.
And I said, all right, well, this is our first step, right? This is the first step. Let's pray right now, and let's ask Jesus into your heart, and then we'll talk about the baptism. And we did, and we prayed the prayer, and she asked Jesus into her heart, and I said, congratulations, and welcome to the family.
This is your spiritual birthday. You write that date down, you put it in your Bible, and you remember the rest of your life. This is the day that you ask Jesus into your heart, that you will live forever and eternity because of what you have done.
Sometimes we forget, don't we, when we're in the church world, that everybody understands everything that we're talking about and doing, and we don't want to forget the main thing, right? Bill talks about this all the time. We want to be a church that's a beacon on the hill, that's telling other people about Jesus. Yes, we love that you guys come to church, but we want you to bring people with you that we can tell them about Jesus and make sure that they're gonna be eternity with us. So, first step, accept Jesus as your savior. Second step, get baptized. Maybe you were a child and you accepted Jesus and you never done it. Maybe you just never knew it was important.
We do have baptisms about once a month here. We would love to help you do that if you haven't done that yet. Your third step is to go to discover the Met if you have never been, to discover the method. I think there's one coming up in two weeks. You can register on your church app. It's right over there in classroom C. And Pastor Bill comes in and talks about his heart for the church, where the church is going, how you can partner with us and just get to meet Pastor Bill one on one. If you haven't done that, maybe you've been here a month, a year, 10 years, but you haven't done that and got connected to our church. That's your next step. Because here's what I know. You can come in here and you can sit here and every time that you come, whenever it is, and nobody know you're here, nobody know your name.
But that's not gonna help us help you grow in your spiritual faith. And that's our goal, is to help take you along the place that God wants to take you.
So my challenge for you today as we close is to up your prayer game.
If you're not praying at all, start praying just a few minutes. If you've been praying but you're not praying a balanced prayer, you're just praying a God I need prayer that you think about the P R A Y, that you add some different things into your relationship. Because as you get to know God better, this is when your spiritual faith starts growing. As you spend time with the Lord, as you get to know him, you see the miracles that he's done. As you read the Bible, as you do different things and get to know him, your life will never be the same.
So don't miss the opportunity to do that and to grow in your faith. All right, let's pray. God, we love you so much. Thank you. For my brothers and sisters in this room that are here, Lord, I pray a blessing over each person, over their families.
We don't always know what's going on in somebody's life, but we know that you do. You say, you know the hairs on our head, you know the teardrops, you've counted them that we've shed. Lord, you know us intimately. You love us, Lord, and I pray for each person here that you've created in their heart and expanded their heart to know you more, to grow in you, to live a life that honors you. So strengthen our faith when we're weak, remind us of your goodness when we feel lost.
Lead us even when the path is unclear. Can we look for the path that you have given us, that we look to align with your will, to follow you, Father. We also remember our fellow Texans in Central Texas right now, devastated from the flood waters that swept through Central Texas. And we lift up all the grieving friends and family and those who have lost loved ones for those who are still unaccounted for. We pray for the safety of the first responders risking their lives.
God, we ask you to bring peace and comfort and protection to all of those suffering. Be their rock and support right now. God, it's just unimaginable what they're going through, Lord. But we know you are a God that is big enough to comfort and to bring peace to them.
And if there's anyone who hasn't trusted you as their Lord and Savior, press on their hearts to do that today, to not let another day go by that they don't pray this simple prayer. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart. I believe you lived a sinless life and you died on the cross for my sin, that you were buried and three days later rose to life.
I want you to be the Lord and the director of my life. Starting today.
I choose to follow you.
In Jesus name, Amen.
